Recap: |
Looking back over the past 30 years, I can't say I'm very happy with what I have accomplished. Life has been a challenge every step of the way. But, when I think about it, we all have our challenges. I think my most valuable accomplishments are my three wonderful children and my gandson Anthony - a precious gift. I have been married a few times and I have had a few really great jobs. I even went to college for three years to be a crisis counselor but my health prevented me from finishing college. It took a long time but I feel I have a handle on my health problem now. At this point in my life, I'm in the nursery (plants, trees, shrubs) business. In five years, my friend and I have created a really nice nursery in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. We named it Willamette Valley Nurseries. So far we have at least 700 varieties in stock. I still enjoy doing crafts with my friends. I have done some traveling and enjoyed that - Hawaii, Alaska, New York, Boston, Washington, D.C., crossed U.S. by auto three times. Caribbean cruise seven days, Reno, Vegas and so on. All I do now is work at the nursery. The plan is to build the nursery up and sell it so we can have a comfortable retirement one of these days. The end for now! |
