2010 Profile

Resides: Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico

I retired in 2007 after working for Philips Semiconductors for 33 years. My husband and I both sold our California homes and moved to Lake Chapala, Mexico (the largest lake in Mexico), which is 40 miles south of Guadalajara and just 20 miles south of the Guadalahara International Airport. This is a community of retired people from both the U.S. and Canada. We have lived a life of total leisure for the past three years. The average temperature is 84 degrees and it only rains during the night. We couldn't ask for much more, however, we have decided to move back to the States to be closer to family so we have put our home on the market. If any of you reading this want to spend a week in Mexico (not on the beach) give us a call and come for a visit. Pictures of our house are on my Facebook account. Hope to make it to the 50th!
